Looking into the specifics, Aqua is designed for medium to general commercial use, following the EN1307 classification. The construction is a level cut loop (LCL) with a yarn type of Stainproof SDX (Solution Dyed Nylon-6). Certain colours use Stainproof SDX Eco yarn with recycled content, indicating an eco-friendly choice. The yarn mass is approximately 900 g/m or 26.54 oz/yd, and the pile height is about 6.5mm or 0.26 inches. The total thickness of Aqua is approximately 9mm or 0.35 inches, and its total mass is about 1860 g/m or 54.86 oz/yd. The standard width for this broadloom is 4 meters or 157.48 inches, and it features a FusionBac backing type. The machine gauge is set at 1/10 inches with a stitch rate of 40 per 10cm or 10.16 per inch. The pattern repeat is approximately 96 x 98.5 cm, creating a consistent and visually pleasing design. In terms of safety and resilience, Aqua has a fire classification of Cfl-s1 according to EN 13501-1, Class 1 according to ASTM E648-08, and 3 according to SANS 10177-4. It also exhibits high colour fastness to light, water, dry rubbing, and wet rubbing. The flooring has an electrostatic propensity of ≤ 2 kV, as per EN 14041, and comes with permanent static control. Aqua also excels in sound absorption, with 0.25 aw as per EN ISO 354, and sound insulation of 27 dB as per EN ISO 10140. The flooring's surface pile density is 0.122 g/m3 and has a thermal resistance of 0.1201 m.K/W as per ISO 8302. With a luxury class rating of LC3 (EN 1307), Aqua is a high-end choice for commercial spaces. The product has passed the VOC testing based on GBCA/GBCSA criteria, ensuring low emission levels. Aqua is also suitable for intensive use under castor chairs and on staircases, adding to its versatility and practicality.
