The Baltimore carpet is a broadloom variety with a width of 4 meters. It is a blend of Stainproof SDX and Stainproof Eco SDX (Solution Dyed Nylon), assuring quality and durability. It adheres to the SANS 10186 fitting code of practice and for prolonged durability, Belgotex recommends the use of carpet protector mats wherever castor wheels are employed. In terms of construction, Baltimore is a Tufted Cut Pile type that adds a plush and opulent feel to any room it graces. The carpet boasts a luxurious texture, thanks to its pile height of 7mm (±0.5mm), and a robust and comforting surface owed to its total thickness of 10mm (±0.5mm). With a total mass of ±2489g/m2 and yarn mass of 1200g/m2, it offers a dense and comfortable surface. Its machine gauge is a 1/10" Patterned Cut Pile, which lends it a distinctive and elegant look. The carpet is stitched with a density of 43 stitches per 10cm, reinforcing its robustness and endurance. Baltimore's excellent color fastness to light, wet rubbing, dry rubbing, and water, and an electrostatic propensity of less than 2.0kV (ISO 6356 & EN1307) are features that contribute to its superior quality. Furthermore, its permanent static control makes it suitable for commercial environments. Its fire index rating is 2 (SANS 10177-IV), and it passes VOC testing, emphasizing its eco-friendliness.
