Belgotex introduces Touch Design Abstract, an expression of modern, conceptual design in luxury carpeting. This fine patterned color placement carpet creates a canvas for elegant expression and open interpretation, catering to the sophisticated tastes of the upper crust. Yet, it also meets the practical needs of the bourgeoisie thanks to its composition of Stainproof SDX. It's a tufted broadloom carpet featuring Stainproof SDX & Stainproof Eco SDX Blend, a type of solution dyed nylon, making it ideal for heavy commercial use. With a pile height of 7mm (±0.5mm), a total thickness of 10mm (±0.5mm), and a total mass of approximately 2553g/m2, the Abstract carpets are designed to withstand high traffic areas. The Touch Design Abstract Range is offered in a 4m width with a pattern repeat of approximately 97cm x 99cm. The machine gauge is set at 1/10", offering 40 stitches per every 10cm. It also has a fire index rating of 3 (SANS 10177-IV), and a Cfl-s1 rating as per EN ISO 9239-1 standards. Colorfastness to light is rated at 7 according to ISO 105-B02, while wet and dry rubbing both score between 4 and 5, as per ISO 105-X12 standards. The carpets also showcase impressive water resistance, scoring between 4 and 5, based on ISO 105-E01 standards. Electrostatic propensity is less than 2.0kV, complying with ISO 6356 & EN1307 standards. The carpet has permanent static control and has passed VOC testing.
