Chaos carpets are made with Stainproof SDX & Stainproof Eco SDX Blend, a type of solution dyed nylon, ideal for heavy commercial use. The carpet features a pile height of 7mm (±0.5mm), total thickness of 10mm (±0.5mm), and a total mass of approximately 2553g/m2. It's available in a 4m width with a pattern repeat of about 130cm x 95cm. The construction of this carpet includes a machine gauge set at 1/10", providing 40 stitches every 10cm. It carries a fire index rating of 3 (SANS 10177-IV), and a Cfl-s1 rating as per EN ISO 9239-1 standards. The color fastness to light is rated at 7 (ISO 105-B02), while wet and dry rubbing are both scored between 4-5, as per ISO 105-X12. Water resistance scores between 4-5, according to ISO 105-E01. The Chaos Collection also showcases less than 2.0kV of electrostatic propensity, meeting ISO 6356 & EN1307 standards, with permanent static control and VOC testing passed. To maintain its beauty, Belgotex recommends following the SANS 10186 fitting code of practice for installation and suggests using carpet protector mats in areas where castor wheels are utilized.
